Sunrise: Hi, this is Sunrise.
BR: Sally's sister?
Sunrise: yep! I was wondering if you knew if someone was bullying Selena on Saturday. She was acting all upset, but denied anything going on.
BR: Well, I don't know anthing, but I met her in the cafe on Saturday, and she seemed upset. She was the last to arrive of the four of us. Lola, who arrived second to last, said she saw Sal talking to someone behind the cafe.
Sunrise: I know this is a really weird question--but did you see any rare breeds around the cafe?
BR: I saw about six. There were two seramas, a showgirl, a rhode island white, a marans, and a catalana. Strangely enough, they were all at the same table.
Sunrise: did Selena talk to them?
BR: No, but she kept looking in that direction. I asked her if she knew them, and she told me she did.
Sunrise: thanks

Sunrise: I don't think we've ever met any of those breeds before. They must of been the ones bothering Sal!

Junior: Good work Sunrise!!! Now you just have to talk to Sal, if you can't get anything out of her, I'll try an talk to her to see if she was with the rare breeds club, and then we can go from there. :)

(note: Lola is Selena's friend. Buff orp.)
Sunrise: Hi, Lola, this is Sal's sister.
Lola: Oh, Hi!
Sunrise: I was suspecting Sal's been bullied. She's been acting really upset since we came home from town yesterday, so I called the BR and she said that you saw her talking to someone behind the mealworm cafe. I just want to know more about that.
Lola: oh, yes. I had taken the shortcut from the Eggie's drugs to the cafe, so I was approaching the building from the side instead of the front. I saw Sally talking to a pullet behind the building.
Sunrise: what breed was the pullet?
Lola: well, actually, I thought she was talking to you or Sal's other sister. So I decided to leave her to her conversation.
Sunrise: So they looked like a sex-link?
Lola: yes, but I've never been very good at breed identification. So she could have been a new hampshire red, or a production red, or even a rhode island red. She was red.
Sunrise: Okay, thanks!

Susan: Sunrise! I found something!
Sunrise: what?!
Susan: the BR said that there was a catalana at the table. Well, I saw a picture of a catalana that looks a lot like me.
Sunrise: so we know there's a catalana involved.
(goes back to staring at map)
Susan: Staring contest with the map, Sunny?
Sunrise: no, it's just that I think I should have noticed a clue from it. Do you see anything, Junior?

Susan: Well, I know a few delawares from the homeschool co-op.
Sunrise: I am SO STUPID!!!!
Susan: what in the world?
Sunrise: look at the map! it's as plain as day! Sally DID stop somewhere else, although she never went inside!

Sunrise: the pink were the places she told us she went--but did you ever think how she got from one place to the other?
