Runaway: We were allowed out today after all. THe sun came out and Mom let us roam in our run. We gots mealies to eats as a treat!!

Sweet Pea: I am so lucky we are in the breeding pen today. Mom is hoping that either me or Maxie will lay eggs she can hatch for the Easter Hatch a long.

Sunrise: Mommy says she wants to build a new coop for us, but that probably won't happen for another year.
Susan: who knows? Maybe it'll happen sooner...
Selena: I want our new coop to have care bear wallpaper.
Whickham: I'm still not hatched. I'm not even laid yet!
Jane: I wonder where we'll go after we hatch.
Mary: into a cardboard box.
Elizabeth: but after the box...
Kitty: maybe there'll be more chicks there in wherever it is.

Bisquick: Yea, we would have needed a bigger coop even if we weren't getting chicks.
Snap: Our other one was sort of makeshift, and it hardly fit the four of us,
Buttermilk: Yep. So, it's a good thing we're getting a new one.

Princess: The people want to paint ours this summer, cause the rain came before they could last year.

Terry: I just hope they put more of a roof over the run area! Anyway, I think they want to repaint their house yellow with white, so maybe that's what they'll do.
