Pippy: Hazel and Omelette and I got to go outside yesterday!!!
Hazel: And Butter tried to peck me.
Buttermilk: Well, what am I supposed to do? Step down from my spot in the pecking order for a fuzz ball?
Hedwig: And I was alone in the brooder screaming for the others to come back! I wanna go outside!
Omelette: Uncle Luke took pictures of us outside!! We tasted the grass, and flapped around! We had way more space than in the brooder.
Snap: It was so nice outside yesterday! And today!
Bisquick: Mommy said that she and Grampi are gonna start on the coop this Saturday!!! So exciting!

Sophia's Travel log.

I like to spend most of my time on the poop board of the roost, since the other chickens don't bother me there, and Mommy puts out an extra feeder. The days have all been the same, and none so crazy as that first night and day. My life is nice here, and once the pecking order settles, I shall be perfectly happy. I like the chicks--the one called Elanor is such a smarty, Marianne such a sweetie. They are nicer than the older chickens right now. The only one nice to me is the one called either Sal or Selena--I've heard her called both. Admittedly, All the names I know are the three preiviously mentioned--I've never asked the meaner ones their names, nor cared to know.

Wilhelmina: Less than two weeks until we arrive at the big girls house!
Louise: Oh, great. More annoying pullets. Just when we all became hens!
Willhemina: Actually, I won't be a pullet yet. Just the orp and brahma.
Lizzy: Uhh, when did we become the orp and brahma??
Indy: And we won't be pullets either!! We'll still have one day!
Akira: Indy, did you tell them your name change?
Penny: Yes, INGA ABILENE!
Audrey: Isn't it adorable?
Inga: No!!! It's too dressy!

Buttermilk: Yea, we were free-ranging, Mommy took us in, we ate, drank, and settled down, and then it started raining just then.
Snap: Like pouring.
Hazel: Mommy finally cleaned out our brooder!!!
Pippy: And she had a scary thing that when you turned it 'on' it sucked up whatever was in its way!!
Hedwig: I think it could've sucked up me!! D:
Omelette: And it made a noise like this: "Vrrrrrrrroooooommmm!!!!'
