Captain Flint: Well, she seems nice enough. But she did put me in a box. I'm going to have ten girls, she said, and probably more in the future. Thanks Pippin!
Me: Hopefully he doesn't crow too much in the car and blast the lady's ears out.

He was really good when being carried down to her car, though. Although he almost got his tail feathers stuck in the box. Goodbye! Surprisingly, I'm not that sad. I know he'll have a good home and all, so it can't be too bad. I know I'll miss his silly ways, miss his crowing, miss his presence in our chicken run, miss his eager clucks calling his girls over to get food. But he'll be happy where he's going, Gertie will be happy without all the pecking. It's all for the best.

Me: Well, in the future we might get a rooster, but not really soon. If we do, I'm hoping to get a Cochin roo, because they're supposed to be really nice (and they're super fluffy and cute!). If you read the Derperella thread, then you'll know how nice Trousers was. Yeah. :3
