Dandelion: Well, we are molting right now, so the egg counts are a little low. 16 girls, 5-8 eggs a day. When we weren't molting, it was more 12-14 eggs a day.

Me: that's not bad for molt season. For some reason, our girls don't like to heavy molt late summer. they either do a lightish molt (while still laying) or do a heavy molt at a random time like late spring. Could be our ridiculous weather patterns (we got our first snow Halloween morning, second snow yesterday, and our third snow today)
