Aroura: Hi, I'm Auroura and the queen of the coop...
Sunrise: There's no real queen of our coop.
Susan:Aroura acts like a queen though, and is at the top of our pecking order
Autumn: She's bossy
Aurora: Hey!!!
Selena:We're all RIR mixes here, and all hens. The neighbors have a rooster though. I'm in love with him. [sighs]
Sunrise: That rooster already has hens of his own,Selena. Snap out of it!
Midnight: yeah, and youv'e never even seen him before, just heard him crow. And I think it's dumb to call us RIRs because I'm not red though, I'm black.

Selena: Today when my sissies were taking dust baths, I went on a walk though the woods across the road. Mommy and Auntie are afraid I could get hurt whenever I take long walks.
Susan: Selena's always wandering away from the flock and exploring the scary woods.
Selena: Stop interuppting! So I went up this big hill and I was about ready to turn back when I saw some chickens! They were the neighbor's hens and you won't believe this...
Sunrise: She saw the rooster she was in love with.[rolls eyes]
Selena:I saw the rooster I was in love with! [sighs] And then I made friends with them. There are three RIR hens, a BR hen and the rooster was an RIR too.
Susan:Selena, Are you aware that that Oh-so-dashing "rooster" is a cockrel?
Sunrise: He's not even a year old! and you are a three year old hen![giggles]

Junior: Selena, I like to take long walks too, but my Mom always comes and finds me before I can go real far. You're lucky that you met some hens!! We don't have any chickens in our neighborhood, but we have some cousins!! (Me: Their cousins are chickens 4 ever's chickens.
Bisquick: Yea, we have four cousins. You can ask chickens 4 ever about it.

Auroura: there was a big storm!
Sunrise: we were all dustbathing under the porch when it clouded up
Susan: It got awfully windy, and then it started to rain
Autumn: Auroura said we should go back to our coop, and for once we all agreed with her.
Selena: All exept midnight and me.
Midnight:I saw no reason whatsoever to go back to the coop. It was sheltered under the porch, and it was a long walk through the rain.
Auroura: so right after we got back to the coop, it started to pour.
Sunrise: the coop doors were all open and rain poured in
Susan: we had to huddle under the nestboxes until Auntie closed the doors
Autumn: There was tons of lightning and thunder.
Selena: We got behind our dustbath to shelter ourselves from all the rain blowing under the porch.
Midnight: Mommy tried to coax us out from under the porch, but ther was no chance I was coming out
Aurora: the storm ended, but it's still raining.
Sunrise: It's probably a good Idea to hang around the coop in case it starts again.

George: Even I shall submit to this beautiful lady.

George: *squint* Pepper. Why aren't you bowing to the beautiful hen Amulet, the leader of our entire street?
Amarosa, Popcorn and Wish: *gasp*
Pepper: ... Because I don't want to.
Amulet: >->
Wish: You DARE disrespect Queen Amulet???
Pepper: Okay, fine.
Amulet: >-> I'm watchin' you, Pepper.
