Aurora: during my reign I have tried to repair the badly mangled pecking order, but it hasn't worked. Amulet, Petrie, Bisquick, do you have any tips on how to make the commoners respect their Queen?
Selena: And snap, give me a tip or two on how to become broody
Auroura: Silence, serf! there will be no broodyness in my coop
Midnight(mockingly) there will be no broodyness in my coop
Autumn: Also, There is a pecking order here, but it is less clear cut than most pecking orders. We have free speech
Midnight: and after being at the bottom of a large pecking order, I think this is so much better.
Autumn: if Auroura had it her way, it would be so much different
Susan:good thing she doesn't.

Bisquick: Auroura, I am not the queen, but am highly respected. I am the boss. Not queen. There are two things key to making a nicely arranged flock, and pecking order. First, be nice, or peck if necessary. Being nice works best. Second, the most disobedient one, goes at the bottom of the pecking order. *glares at Junior* And after a while, she or he will begin to do as you say. *smiles nicely at Junior* Oh, and one more thing, the ones that do obey *looks nicely at Buttermilk and Snap) go above the disobedient one. But, sooner or later, there won't be of a difference between the two ones between the boss, and serf.
Junior: Hey!! I'm not a serf!!
Bisquick: Well, then what do you want me to call you?
Junior: The Queen of Mulch!! *grins very broad*
Bisquick: Uh-no. As I was saying, Buttermilk and Snap are pretty much the same level, as with me and Junior- well- Not quite as much..... *smirks* Oh, and one more thing to being a good queen or boss, you need to have control.
Snap: Selena, how to go broody? I'm not really sure. Sometimes, I think that it'd be fun to have little chicks, but others, not so much.

Selena: I'm not even sure that I want to go broody yet. I just thought it sounded like fun. Mommy said I shouldn't, but Sunrise said She had gone broody before she came here, and that it was a blast. Susan, who was her nestboxmate at the time, said it wasn't fun at all.
Aurora: Bisquick and Petrie gave me somewhat conflicting infromation. So I should establish a prison, put midnight and sunrise at the bottom of the pecking order, and maintain control.
Susan: someone convince Selena not to go broody
Sunrise: why not?
Autumn: the neighbor hens want to have a coopover soon. If it's at our place, we have a lot of work to do.
Midnight: change the straw, clean the nestboxes, clean the roost, clean the run.

Daffidol- Aurora, i am the QUEEN of the coop. I just stay lofty and desert my subjects whenever Mom is around. She keeps them in line. (seriously, if she's in the middle of pecking a naughty chicken, she looks and me and pushes the other chicken toward me

)

Sienna- Oh REALLY daffy, your not in charge! I on the other han...OW OW sorry. you are.
Daffidol-and don't you forget it. I just leave you and Polly in charge when i'm off with Lacy and Macy.
Dandelion - now now no fighting. the pecking order is to be resolved NOT HERE. understood?
Sienna/daffodil- Fine.
Pebble- to me it sounds like Dandy is in charge.
Dandelion- nop i just don't like fights.

Midnight: I think the coopover is going to be at their place. Even though it's small, they have a whole roost that they don't use.
