So today I could only get to the chickens at 8:30 pm (busy day) and it was already dark. We shined the flash light in and saw the funniest looks on the chooks' faces....Minnie proceeded to try and perch on my arm.

Minnie: am I dying?
Icarus: don't be ridiculous we're not dying
Promy: do you guys see that light?
Angel: yeah, I see it!!
Minnie: SOMETHING TOUCHED ME
Promy: it was just me!
Icarus: Minnie calm yourself!
Minnie: IM GETTING OUT Of HERE
Everyone: Minnie no!
Minnie: *jumps up onto a round, wobbly perch [my arm] and tries to balance. Obviously it's much safer up here to be a chicken.*
Promy: And then there were 3.

I don't know why Minnie was the only one freaking out, the other 3 were like yeah whatever lady. Hehehehe

Bisquick: Oh, Buttermilk get over it.
Buttermilk: But I can't!!!
Snap: *sigh* They're fighting because Buttermilk now has a 'preening plant.'
Junior: Bisquick thinks it's ridiculous.
Snap: Cause it kinda is. I mean, she preens it's long skinny stalks and fluffs up it's 'fluff.'
Junior: She practices her 'beauty' work on it.
Snap: *sigh* This won't ever get blown over.
Junior: Nope, it won't.



*Buttermilk's 'preening plant' is one of those weeds that's growing in a pot. She was preening it this morning.

Cheep: We get the same thing every morning, unless mommy puts snacks in it
Peep: I dont really care. Just sleeping with the twins ( Mocha and Brownie my hens) makes me hungry.
Cheep: True, they do make A LOT of noise!
Brownie: DO NOT!
Mocha: Yea!!! Your the one that snores Peep!!
Brownie: Yea!!!!!! *imitates Peep snoring*
Mocha: HAHAAH!
Peep: Stopp! I do not snore!
