Shhh!!! Don't tell her!!! ;)

Bisquick: Selena, they were getting tested on scour vanilla.
Buttermilk: Nuh-uh. They were getting tested on sour chocolate. (instead of vanilla. ;) )
Snap: No, I think that it was scoured manilla.
Junior: Well, I think that it was sour vanilla!!!
Bisquick: GAAH!!!! Has anyone been keeping track?
Susan: Well, sour vanilla is a disease you get from eating old vanilla pudding. kind of like sour crop.
Selena: And I think sour chocolate is the same thing, just with chocolate pudding
Sunrise: it's Scoured Manilla, cause you get it from manilla envelope dyes.
Susan: I think it's actually scour mellow.
Sunrise: like mellow as in marshmellow? sounds like another food-related disease.
Selena: Oh, I know what it is! Soggy Willow!

Ella: It's sour vanilla. :3

Bisquick: Thanks for clearing that up Ella. :)
Buttermilk: Soo guys how is everyone doing in school!!?? I have the best grades in the family. Anyone else coopschooled? Or do they go to a different school?
Bisquick: Oh Buttermilk shut up.
Junior: *scribbles quietly away in a corner*
Snap: Um, Junior, what are you doing.
Junior: *continues writing and doesn't look at Snap* homework.
Snap: For?
Junior: The Art of Egglaying.
Snap: When is it due?
Junior: In three days.
Snap: What day is that?
Junior: *stops writing and snaps her head up to Snap* My heavens Snap!! Can't I just get some peace and quiet around here!!!??? *hmph* *goes back to writing*
Snap: My wooooooord.

Junior: Aw cute Mir!!!
Buttermilk: I love it. :)
Bisquick: Anybody else have a coop that is getting a little small for them?
Snap: Now, Bisquick, don't complain. We're lucky to have a run.
Bisquick: *sigh* I hope we get a new one soon.
Junior: Guys, here's my homework!! Who likes it? :D

Buttermilk: HEY!!! I don't lay worse after molting!!!
Junior: Yea, ya do. You're your own proof.
Buttermilk: *hmph* I'd like to see you lay eggs at least every other day, besides now I'm laying an egg every day.
Junior: yes, I admit that I'm an awful layer, but you're not admitting it,
Buttermilk: CAUSE I'M NOT AN AWFUL LAYER!!! I WAS THE FIRST TO START LAYING AND YOU WERE THE LAST TO START LAYING!!!
Junior: Okay okay!! I'm sorry!!!

Susan: all of us have to take The art of egg laying, because it's a core in our school.
Selena: our core classes are The art of egg laying, Perching and Balancing, foraging skills, and The pecking order. My favorite is the foraging skills. I posted a worksheet of mine.
Sunrise: and for other subjects, we get a choice of How to make a dustbath, Breeds of chickens, or history class.
Foraging skills Questions

In wide open, disturbed areas

Bisquick: Cool worksheet Selena!!! That sounds like a fun class. :)
Buttermilk: Our core classes are Balancing, Perching, Digging, and Take-off. My Extra-curricular class is The Art of Egglaying.
Snap: Bisquick and I do How to Make a Dustbath. It's really fun!! Cause we get to learn about minerals and what's good for our plumage and stuff. :)
Bisquick: I'll post my worksheet when I'm done with it.
Junior: *glares at a piece of paper* NO FAIR!!!!
Bisquick: WHAAAT?!!
Junior: Your guys' worksheets are due on the 29th of each month and ours are due on the 19th of each month!!! NO FAIR!!!
Buttermilk: Junior, think of it this way: They have work over Christmas break and we don't.
Snap: Plus, Juni, we get our work later than yours. We get the same amount of work.
Bisquick: Yea, calm down Junior.
Junior: Okay, I thought that we were all assigned the same day and yours were due later than ours.
Snap: Susan, Selena, and Sunrise. Are you guys coopschooled?

Susan: No, we go to public school. We went to Prairie hill school when we lived at the big organic egg farm, and now we go to Fir tree school. We get to ride a bus! (not really)

Susan

Medium sized
What color is it? Is it lighter or darker than usual?
Brown, a little darker than usual
How thick was the shell?
Somewhat thin, not too bad.
How much calcium are you getting? Is this enough?
Two teaspoons a day, maybe I need more.
Were there any blood spots? If so, Why?
No, I stayed calm all day.
What color was the yolk?
Light yellow.

Susan: here's a picture of our bus. I used to walk to school back at Prarie hill, but we are so far away that we get to ride the school bus.
Sunrise: Instead of big seats inside, it has chicken sized ones.
Selena: and just like real school buses, there are two rows of seats that can fit three chickens apiece, with ten seats in each row. I like to sit by Sunrise And Susie.

Autumn: sorry, We've been so busy with school we haven't had time to post yet.
Midnite: Autumn and Auroura are in ninth grade, while I'm only in sixth.
Auroura: We ride the same bus and go to the same school as Sunrise , Susie and Sal and the neighbor's chickens. But I'm the smartest of them all.
Autumn: We go to a school called Fir tree. [whispers] we've learned how to ignore Auroura's comments, Sunrise is really the smartest, with Susie a close second.
Midnite: Right now we are learning about foraging, but we haven't gotten very far.
Auroura: We learned about foraging so long ago. SO easy!
