Autumn: I'm in school right now :( I had to draw a chicken and a cat for art class today. I don't want to do history class :(

Autumn: Yeah, but after that we have history which I absolutely hate D:

Sunrise: I love my history class! But we get to pick either history, Breeds of chickens, or dustbathing, so you choose what you like.

Selena: I love Foraging skills class. You get to go outside during class and identify all the good plants to eat, and put put down a hula hoop in a random area, then count all the plants inside the hula hoop.
Susan: We go on nature walks and talk about underbrush and how it grows in relation to the trees in the area.
Sunrise: We also learn about Predator safety. that would usually be a seperate class like Stripe's, But it really ties in with foraging skills.

Susan: What's for breakfast?
Sunrise: a frost-killed zucchini Mommy salvaged from the garden.
Selena: we've been getting a lot of frost-killed food from the garden lately
Sunrise:Yesterday's lunch was a very young pumpkin that froze, and dinner was aged cucumber.
Selena: I love Fall...the larches and birches and cottonwoods turning yellow, the crisp air, the cool weather, and the salvaged garden leftovers.
Susan: by the way, Sal, I packed a sandwich for you
Selena (suspiciously): What kind? oyster shell?
Susan: Pumpkin butter that I made out of yesterday's leftover pumpkin rinds.
Sunrise: Yum!
