Bisquick: Morning Buttermilk. Are the others awake.
Buttermilk: Nope. But, I stuffed my crop at the party!!
Bisquick: I know!! Mom got so worried!!!
Buttermilk: But, I was okay. What are you making?
Bisquick: Oh, just some layer butter toast. Can you wake the others?
Buttermilk: Sure. *Screams really loudly* SNAP AND JUNIOR IT IS 8:45 IT IS TIME TO GET UP YOU LAZY BONES!!!1
Junior: Hmm?? Oh, good morning Buttermilk/
Snap: *falls off roost* AAAHHH!!! DON'T WORRY I DIDN'T PAINT THE WALLS GREEN!!!!
Bisquick: What in tarnation???
Snap: Hmph. *dust off self* Good-NOT-morning Buttermilk.
Buttermilk: Goodness, it's like someone screamed in her ear to wake her up!
Snap: *flounces off to breakfast* Cause they did.

Ella: We get flaxseed layer oatmeal mash. Malibu's grinding up flaxseed, adding oats, warm water, and layer pellets :3

Brownie: We got peas in our food today for breakfast! It was so yummy!
Mocha: And we got let out too That was fun!

Peep: Here we go.
Cheep: I don't think it was all that bad but a lot of my feathers came off from the wind :/ *goes into the warm area*
Peep: Wow she isn't in a bad mood the s'morning, I wonder why.
Brownie: Its because she is almost done molting and is going to start growing her feathers back soon, dur.
Mocha: Thats good! No more moody Cheep.
Peep: Your telling me.
Brownie: Can you hand me the newspaper?

Brownie: Top roosting bar to the left but not right by the window seat.
Peep: ok everyone ok with that?
Mocha and Cheep: Yes!
Peep: Ok Cheep were do you like it?
Cheep: Bottom roosting bar to the right. But when I am not molting I like the window seat *glares at Mocha*

Peep: Ok. And I like the middle of the bottom roosting bar. Agreed?
All chickens: AGREED!

Sunrise: hey! that sounds like a really good solution to our roost arguments.
Susan: I call left corner!
Selena: second from left!
Sunrise: third from left!
Autumn: HEY!!!! you guys are calling all the spots by the heater! NO FAIR!!!
Selena: well only three can fit on the left!
Auroura: As the queen, I shall get the second from the left!
Midnite: But that is the warmest spot in the whole coop!
Autumn: I know! why can't some of us sleep on the lower roost?
Susan: because its eight degrees warmer if we are all on the top roost
Sunrise: Wait! we can rotate the spots by the heater! one night Susie, Sal, and I get them and the next night you three get them.
Auroura: GOOD IDEA!!!!!!!!!!
Selena: but who gets it tonight?

Petrie: Ducky and Seana sleep on the ground while Lily and I roost ^-^

Brownie: Mommy put more shavings in our warm area too Its nice and warm and Mocha and I can snuggle together in them!
Mocha: *digs a hole in the shavings and sits down*
Brownie: CANNON BALL!
Cheep: We also got antibiotic ointment on our combs because they are dried from the cold weather. Mine was really dry.
Mocha: Well better get to bed! Jumps up by the window.
Brownie: Gets up beside her.
Mocha and Brownie: *smile*
Peep: *Goes in the middle of the bottom roosting bar* Oh yes. So cozy I am so tired I could just fall asleep right n-
