Bite?!?! Tumor?!?! Please Help!

Chickens dont have puss like we do. theirs is hard and formed so it wont drain through a small incision it has to be worked out of there. And your right, if you dont get it all it will come back.
Yes, I found that out, didn't know, it looked like chunk cheese inside my chicken's bumblefoot, and it smelled bad, nasty!

I have no idea when I removed the mass it was almost like a huge skin tag with a layer of skin behind it I didn’t make it into any bone. I’m thinking a huge cyst or a fatty tumor. When I lanced I didn’t see any puss just blood. There were pockets of dirt-like substance all throughout the mass. @granny hatchet
I've removed a few fatty tumors and cysts, and none had gritty dirt in them.
I removed a big staph infection on a pigeon's chest once, and it did have gritty dirt in it, because she'd nestle down and get dirt on her, I suppose. That particular staph was more near the surface and easy to remove, but it was quite large and on her lower chest below her crop. It still sounds like a staph infection to me.
