Bitter Apple?

Can I use Bitter Apple on my chickens to discourage feather picking by other chickens? I used this to get our dog to stop chewing on the furniture.

I have been wondering about bitter apple also for a feather picker, Blu-Kote only seems to help if sprayed on daily.

I just don't want to make it worse. What if they LIKE the Bitter Apple? Does anyone have any other ideas? the blue Kote is a mess.

I read somewhere (on BYC) that someone used bitter apple to cure egg eating. They blew out the egg, and carefully put something in the egg, along with apple bitter. This worked for them. So, that being said, I would think that means chickens do not like the bitter apple. Is it bitter apple, or apple bitter? hmmmm, I can't remember.

I think it is Bitter Apple. Althought it has been 5 years since I have had to use it.

What about styrofoam? James told me to give they styrofoam.
