    Hello All-

I have a major case of Bittersweet vines growing in my backyard, my husband and I cleared them out of a lot of the trees, but they are incredibly aggressive and still have roots in the ground and the little buggers keep trying to grow back as evidenced by all the new growth already in that area....the problem is, that happens to be where we put the chicken coop. Will the plants/vines do anything to the chickens? Anybody have an experience with this? TYIA

Climbing bittersweet has berries that are not toxic to birds and mammals, but bittersweet nightshade has toxic berries. Do an online search to determine which plant you are dealing with. [IMG]
