Black Ameraucana or Easter Egger?

Another way to kind of tell is by the inside of the egg shell. Ameraucanas will have a blue shell outside & inside whereas an EE will be blue on the outside & white on the inside...
Do you have a source for this? I was under the impression that blue egg are always blue inside, it's the brown pigment (brown overlaid on blue that makes green) that is only on the outside.

Good catch! So, just saw this early today & have spent most of my day on & off scouring for the source...and I can't find it. Who knows how I found it, I was researching a several different chicken related things. So, maybe I'm wrong. I have found a few articles about this topic on the Ameraucana Breeders Alliance forum tho...which leads me to believe that I definitely did find something on it...and I just can't find it. So no, there's no definite guarantee this is accurate as if it was 100% I would assume I wouldn't have such a hard time finding sources for it. However, I did find on the Alliance website there being mention of birds that are homozygous for the blue egg shell having the blue on the inside as well since the blue permeates thru the shell, but that a bird who is only heterozygous for the blue egg genes having a much lighter or white inside shells...and I was doing a lot of genetic research which may be where I came across that. Either way, if I can find the info I'll link it. If not, I'm willing to admit maybe I have things mixed up (and was thinking of the green eggs) or I'm wrong & should start double checking my answers before submitting 🤷‍♀️ Thanks again!
