hey anyone here breed black and gold silkies?? im just starting out breeding that type!! love to know if anyone else does!!!

well mine are a mix of partridge and black, i was told in the first place of the guy i was buying them they were pure gold but these are partridge and black i luv em though they are amazing!!:

Not sure what the "guy" was taking about, but there is no such thing as gold silkies. You can have Buff silkies. Some Partridge appear to have a golden tipping to the end of the feathers,with the under color black. Those are usually hens, and the cocks have more red coloring to them. You might want to post pictures, that would help with determining what color you really have.

This is a black silkie with gold leakage in her neck...There is NO color name for this it is just a bad black coloring or from a mixed color flock.

Not sure where black australorp prince is from, but in some countries, what we call buff is called gold.
