Black and white feathers look painted on. What kind is it???

This chicken looks similar to my silver laced Wyandotte except it doesn't look lacey,
it looks painted in stripes. About 5 months old. What breed and gender do you think it is???

it does look like a silver laced Wyandotte Cockerel

but not a greatly patterned one

young ones are more streaky until they get older. and cockerels don't get patterned all over like the females do.
