Black around my buff Orpington's beak

Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you would be able to help me. I've noticed some black markings around my chicks beak it has been there for a couple of weeks but is still there.

Can you take a picture in better lighting - it's hard to see what's beak and what's shadow

Do you see any sign of illness, lumps at the beak, canker/lesions inside the beak?
Eating/drinking ok?

All the black around her beak is the black non of it is shadow. She's eating and drinking fine. We don't think it's fowl pox.

I just don't know what the cause of that would be. Could be just the way her coloring is. I agree it's most likely not Fowl Pox, I don't see any lesions/scabbing on the combs or wattles.

I agree with the previous post, looks normal to me. Just the way she's colored.

At the moment I don't really see anything too concerning. It is interesting, I don't believe I've ever seen coloring just around the beak like that.

I know it's been 3 years since this post, but wondered how this chick turned out? A couple of our buffs
have similar markings and we wanted to check that it's normal!
