Wondering what the results would be of a black australorp roo over Delaware hens. Tried searching and couldnt find any info on in. I have 5 freebies coming to me, all Roos with my order of delawares. Thanks for your help.

A very smart, friendly bird that might not be beautiful, but will be an excellent egg layer! I'm guessing they will be black, or some kind of mottled version of black and white.

Kind of what I was thinking but you never know. I was hoping someone here has done it and would put up a pic. I imagine they would be a great dp that would free range very well. In fall I will have mature breeds of both so I will try it and post results.
