Black Australorp chick - male or female?

My Australorp is 3-4 weeks old. Can you tell at this age based on the comb/wattle development?

It's still quite young to tell, and right now it could go either way but I'm saying it looks like a male.

At 3 to 4 weeks old thats quite a lot of comb, so im thinking cockerel

Here’s an update on my black Australorp chick, who is now between 5-6 weeks old. I just wanted to see if anyone has a different opinion now regarding gender. It’s turning out to be one of my sweetest birds!
