Hi. I think my 10 BA's from Cackle Hatchery were mostly all laying by between 22 and 24 weeks of age but I'm not positive. In fact I could not actually swear that they are all laying even now, as I have never had a day on which I get 10 eggs! I agree with other posters who have said it's better to feed an all-flock formula with oyster shell on the side for those who need it, if you have non-laying birds in your flock, such as young or old birds or males. Also, crushed granite grit provided separately is necessary for all birds as well. Finally, watch that you do not offer too many treats, as these are like junk food that can prevent your birds from getting the balanced nutrition they need from their commercial feed.
