Black Australorp or Black Jersey Giant?

The Black Jersey Giants are good layers they lay from a estimated 180 -260 eggs a year for each hen according to the Cackle Hatchery info . Cackle is one of the finest hatcheries that i know of they are honest & family owned for many many years & i trust what they say about any breed of poultry . I just placed another order for 25 of the Black Jersey Giant pullets & 3 roosters . The Black Australorps are better layers but the Black Jersey Giants do good too. Check the website out

I have done weeks of researching every hatchery i could find & Cackle seems to be one of the best & also Cackle has very fair prices on baby chicks .My wife is going to order 25 of the Easter Egg pullets & 2 roosters hopefully by July or August we have to do alot of repairs on the chick house first

I'm so confused. I ordered 2 ba's from mt. Healthy and recieved a bonus chick which I asumed was another BA they all have yellowish under their feet. But one of them has now developed some brownosh neck feathers..

do you think this is a big or a ba or maybe a black sex link?? Also the other 2 I have more yellow in their faces right now and are still growing their neck feathers in. But they all have yellow on bottoms of feet. They are about 5 weeks old. Thanks

I ordered 4 BJG roosters and got 2 "freebies" from the hatchery.. however some of their feet are pink and some are yellow... ?
I know the Yellow/Black footed birds would be my BJG, what would look the same but have pink feet, not white?

could be black australorps they have white colored feet. But it's a toss up for me I have 2 australorps and 1 has yellow feet and 1 has white.

I have 3 BA's. I think lol. All the same age and size and appearance purchased at the same time but one has black and yellow legs and feet not the black and gray like the others. Is it a jersey giant?????

I have 2 ba's and 1 has yellow feet and 1 has white/gray feet. They both a pear to be ba's. Did u buy from a hatchery? I did and that could be why.
