Black Australorp or Gold Lace Wyandotte?

Very cute! She looks like my GLW that I also had to identify because she was nearly all black as a chick. She looks mottled like mine too with her juvenile feathers. Are those silver or white tips in some feathers?
What a cutie!

Mine is starting to have whitish feathers around the neck area that are neither rounded (female) nor pointed (male), but flat. I’m guessing this is normal “teenage” feather behavior and I am currently taking the wait-and-see approach.

Yesterday at almost 4 weeks old she jumped out the brooder onto my shoulder and i swore I heard her “cluck”.

Feather shape is a gender indicator after the first juvenile molt- after 16 weeks old

I have an update on my GL Wyandotte... “she” is now 8 weeks old and while still calm, friendly, and nary a crow (or cluck), she chased down my in-law’s large Labrador that was barking at my chicks. While the rest ran into the coop and hid. I’m updating photos as well. She’s developed a comb and wattle much faster than the other girls, but they are different breeds so I really don’t put much stock in that.

Do you all still think she is a pullet?
