Black Australorp or Jersey Giant? 22-23 weeks. Roo, right? Bought 2 Australorps & 4 Jersey Giants but can't tell them apart. I'm only sure one crows. This one has some copper/red in his hackle feathers.

It's a cockerel. The color under the feet is the best way to distinguish between JGs and Australorps. Yellow for JGs, white or pinkish for Australorps.

I'm thinking he's a Jersey Giant. He doesn't have the characteristic extremely dark eyes of Australorps and I *think* the skin between the toes is yellow. Obviously check to confirm though!
