This 11 month old is not laying, but also not crowing??? Any ideas?? I have 11 hens that do lay, flock of 12, and also have fertilized eggs? I know the body isn't very rooish but the face is starting too, I think

That is definitely a fertile egg

On a side note - that is a great picture of a fertilized egg! It is so hard to get the bullseye to really show.

Hmmm the one chicken you posted looks like a hen to me. Do you have full body pics of it?

There is a black and white chicken in your avatar pics that I'd like a current photo of. I really do think that Australorp is a pullet, but a closer picture of the neck feathers in particular would be good.
