Hmm, so THAT was the Easter Egger in disguise. Man, she looks a LOT like a BSL. I guess the store sold them together cause they couldn't tell them apart, too :p
 
Ah, i guess the green background in the pic made that egg look greenish. BSL can give tinted eggs, so BSL she is.

Better pic just seconds after laying
 
my 2 girls are squatting on approach and beg to be picked up for the last week, their wattles and combs are very large the same size as my bsl who's been laying for second week now. any idea as to when they should start laying? 19wks old now. they are low women in the flock and have been heavily picked on this week too, would that effect them laying? at least the crazy loud honking has stopped. first time chicken mom so I'm not to sure about the flock higherarchy and behaviors.
