Black Australorp x Black Copper Maran

We have a Black Australorp rooster and hatched a chick from our Black Copper Maran. This 5 week old black chick has dark legs. Is that a sign this is just going to be an Easter egger?

No, neither of its parents are colored layers so the chick isn't going to be an EE. It would be considered a BYM (barnyard mix).

I see now that some black Australorp chicks have all dark legs. I had only been seeing pics of black legs and pink feet. This little one seems fairly large at 5 weeks! I can definitely see the black Australorp in him/her.
