Black Australorp?

For telling the gender, wait until around six weeks, then study closely, and any chicks that have bigger, red combs will be cockerels. If you aren't sure, you can wait until twelve weeks, and start looking for pointy saddle, (base of tail, going down on either side) hackle, (neck) and sickle (tail) feathers. Pointy and long means boy, rounded means female.
