I ordered 2 BA pullets. They arrived big and healthy from Meyer hatchery. I never ordered from hatcheries before. They came with beaks trimmed and ones beak grows abnormally. Although I am happy with them I just want to know if they would grow back? Also , do I need to continuously trim the beak of the abnormal one?

Oh my. I think I would be complaining. Did they say the beaks were trimmed? I'm not sure how to manage birds with beaks like that. I guess watch and see that they are eating okay, than see if the beaks grow. Odds are they won't as they usually burn the end during debeaking to keep them from growing again. Time will tell if you need to do anything for them.

I should also ask which one do you consider abnormal? The one with the longer lower beak I believe is normal. The other with the shorter lower beak is the abnormal one from what I know about debeaking.

No debeaked chickens won’t have the ends of their breaks grow back as the previous poster mentioned, they are burned as day old chicks in a process known as “debeaking” a practice hatcheries do to keep hens from harming one another.
It’s a horrible practice in my opinion.

If the chicken (first image) is crossbeaked then, depending on the severity of the cross you might have to make accommodations for her.
Years ago I had several battery hens (all had the burned beaks like yours) and one was horribly cross beaked.

I would definitely complain about them sending a cross beak. Hopefully it does okay, it has made this far, so odds are it can eat okay.
