There is trees right next to their run that drops some kind of black/bluish berries. When I let them out to free range they go nuts for them. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on whether it was ok or not. Thanks

If they're mull berries (spelling??) I think they're fine. Don't quote me, though, I"m a beginner.

I honestly have no clue what kind they are. It's not from a bush though, It's from a very tall tree.

To heck with the chickens, I want them, I used to climb a mulberry tree in the back yard when I was a kid and eat them...I LOVE THEM.

WHERE IS YOUR TREE, CLOSE TO ME HOPE!!

Me too! The mulberry tree we had when I was a kid was perfect for climbing in and eating until you were sick. The ones here on the farm are all too tall and straight.

Your chickens will be fine with them. They may get a little runny poo if they overindulge.

My SIL used to have a house that had two really nice Mulberry bushes beside it. When we would visit during season I would stand out in the yard eating the berries straight off the bush, all by myself. I think they thought I was nuts.
