So, do hackle and saddle feathers of male bird come in henny feathered? And on female birds pointed? On females how does it affect egg laying?

Good question.

The experiment was not done in reverse...
But since egg laying is not a skin feature it shouldn't matter.

We didn't raise the testosterone birds to the point of lay, or mature feather... so I don't know about extended period sexual characteristics.

I do know that pullets and cockerals showed SIGNIFICANT comb and wattle development, acted more rooish including most of them crowing.

Injected birds all more rooish and more developed and more aggressive next to impossible to tell the sexes apart.

Painted on birds next, and almost impossible to tell apart

Fed birds - third and much milder.

Control were as normal as cornish x get, lol.

It was interesting and I wouldn't mind having read the results of the pee hormone experiment, especially if they did run long term results... sigh you miss all the good stuff.

Not sure I understood what you meant the control were. Specifically the " x get"

I take it this experiment isn't written up in some database for an interesting read? What was the intention/hypothesis?

I think it was meant to read "The control were as normal as Cornish Cross get." Referring to those meat hybrids.

Oh lol I wasn't seeing it as "cornish cross", I was seeing it as cornish crossbred to "get," whatever that was
