How do you keep blackbirds away from going into your coop to feed? I haven't had them do this till today I noticed them flying in and out of the coop (( Not happy,I worry about the wild birds spreading mites or disease.

You can make or buy one of those treadle feeders...maybe that would help unless they too learn to use the feeder.

You might find some of the threads on here about them if interested. Gallo del Cielo had the plans on his BYC page. Also someone was selling some but I forget who..."Al" somebody I think was his name???

You can find them on ebay and from Grandpa's feeders, too.
