Black Bresse or Something Else??

Hello! A friend gave me this rooster, and she said it was a Bresse. I assumed because of its color that she meant a Black Bresse. However, none of the images of Black Bresse roosters I’ve seen have this much white hackle feathers. So I’m not sure if this is a Black Bresse or something else?

Wouldn't he be more blue though? Instead black??

Nope! They're blue, black, or splash like any other blue breed Here are some examples!
