Black Broilers - Age to butcher

I picked up a few black broilers in December. I am wondering what would be the prime age for butchering these birds.

What age/weight is best to butcher at?

I know for the cornish crosses it is 8 to 9 weeks. What breed are your black broilers exactly?

I haven't raised them but I believe they reach butchering age somewhere around 12-14 weeks of age.

The broilers are from Ideal Hatchery. Believe they are astrolorp and dark Cornish.

Because they are a mix, the are not going to grow as fast as your regular cornish. So, I'd agree with keesmom.
