I am considering rehoming my three black cochins. They are about 13 weeks old now, and all appear to be girls. I will even throw in a free 5 week old blue silkie mix cockerel.

Anyone interested? They were from TSC, so hatchery quality. They are very low on the totem pole here, and I ended up with 6 cochins total which I don't need.

I am in the east TN, Knoxville area and would prefer to sell all three together (plus the silkie mix!).

Anyone interested? I have not decided what price, but it would be fair considering age, sex, breed and quality.

I would definitely be interested. Let me know how much you want. I'm up near Kingsport but don't mind traveling to pick them up.

Hi Laurie,

I will post some pics of the girls later today. I don't have anything too recent as they fly under the radar out there in the pen with the "big kids". One is friendlier than the rest but as they are not banded I can never tell which is which. One used to always come and sit at the front of the brooder so I could pet her. They are very shy as the other ones tend to just walk all over them out there.

Are you interested in all three? What about Mr Silkie mix? He has regular feathers and feathered legs. I'm just guessing at him being a Silkie mix, he could be a cochin mix as well I guess....I figured if I kept all my cochins, he would get to go in their pen....but have since decided to keep only my favorites and keep them with the "regulars".

I am actually way over in Loudon, but could meet you in Knoxville on Saturday or Sunday if you'd like. Good excuse to visit the animal shelter and look at cats, right?

As they are well started, I would like $6 each, or $15 for all three girls and the little silkie mix together. (Is it obvious I am trying to pawn off that little dude on somebody? boys boys everywhere)

Yes, they are standard size. I will let you know if it does not work out with Laurie. Thanks!

Nella, if for some reason the other situations don't work out, I will take them. You can PM how much and we will work out a time for me to come and get them if that proves to be the case.
I lost two hens and need to replace them.
