Black comb? What is she?

Yes that is a black sexlink is was going to post a pic but it wont let me.Mine has a red comb too but I dont remember what color her comb was when she was a chick.

mine had alittle less copper to her and a bluegreen sheen to her black feathers as an adult

Another member and I were discussing black combs, as I have 2 birds that have a black comb a or black comb that is turning red. I was told Australorp @ the local chain supply/feed store, but have purchased another pullet of that breed that actually fits the description. The mongrel or BSL seems to make sense of my questionable 2. Pox has already been ruled out since I purchased them in good health and they've continued to remain vibrant. Cool thread!
