Black copper maran - cockerel or pullet?

Hello!

I kept this bcm because we thought it’s a pullet, but it’s starting to grow this red big comb and now i’m thinking it’s a roo.
He/she is smaller in size than the pullet on the left (second picture).
What do You guys think? Cockerel or pullet?

You have a great comparison there to know for sure Cockerel. I'm curious about age.... ?? My BCM at 12weeks has comb and wattle somewhere in between those 2.

Yes, now I see it As my knowledge in sexing chickens is so so little , I was hoping it could be a pullet because the other bcm roo we have developed the red comb way faster than this one. And I saw pictures of bcm chickens that had pretty big combs and maybe that’s why also I had this idea of this roo being a pullet

I just counted the weeks , they are 11weeks old , hatched on 8th March.

Awe bummer! But the good news is based on what he is and the cool genetics he will pass on, you'll have a very easy time re-homing him (or he'll make a great dinner, whichever way you roll.)
