Black Copper Marans , BCM's

Anybody had these? How well do they lay 1-10?

I have quite a few. I also have Blue Wheaten and Wheaten Marans as well. . . They lay very well, and are usually the majority of my winter egg layers. I'd give them a 9, considering their production will last longer than your average hatchery production layer.

I have 8 bcm chickens, two roos and 6 hens and they are the best chickens I could ask for! Except for a naughty teenager that thinks he is king

I had to wait a godd long time waiting on these girls to lay and it was well worth the wait. My eggs are not as dark as I was hoping for but I have gotten some that are absolutely gorgeous!!!!

I am going to hatch these guys out to butcher them, because the roos get huge! Yummy soup
