Alright you guys, my stupid little nonsense (They editied my dogs breed shi-tzu!) just killed my only two chicks that hatched out of my last batch of BCM! First the dog is going to a new home and second, who has eggs that I could buy?

Lots of Marans folks selling eggs on the auctions here. You could probably find one near you even.

I went to SAMs today.

I purchased a two flashlight pack with batteries for $30.

It is ROCKY brand and advertises as a 200 LUMENS flashlight set.

I am going to try it out on PINK's eggs. . . .

They are only 6 weeks now but if I have any boys that mature into nice specimens of the breed I'd be happy to rehome some BCM boys to anyone interested. So far I have a couple of boys that look very promising.

My little BCM Beauregard died tonight of an impacted crop and beginner stupidity. He's the one Geebs liked so much.

Geebs is deeply saddened for you.... Please post a picture of our beloved Beau so we can remember and honor him... Like I said... Hatch everything you can and see if you can't replace him... Roosters all of a sudden have a new meaning huh???? DANG... I hate it when that happens

Here is one for you.. Ghiradelli was found mauled in my nieghbors yard.... she was humanely euthanized and I am deeply saddened as she is likely the best bird I have ever produced... I was going to take her to Stevenson... Probably my own cat got her... (stupidity).... I should have locked her up... I too am mourning...
