Ya.... I think he is a keeper!!! I had been gimping along here on the most outdated system... I think it was run by gerbils!!!! Now I am lightening fast and enough storage that I can NEVER fill it up!!! (gonna give 'er heck though)

Thank you so much for this thread! I've loved looking at all the beautiful Marans. I've got 4 chicks, and as well as I can tell 1 is a cockerel and 3 are pullets. I know it's too early to tell, but if you see anything worth pointing out, let me know. They really will be 'just' pets, but I bought them from a local show breeder.
