Black Copper Marans discussion thread

I was going to ask if I could be put on somebodies waiting list for chicks. Don't want them from hatchery stock. Around 15-20. I just moved from SC to TN. Had to sell all my chicks and chickens to move.

Anyways, building new flocks again. Ordered 20 Buff Brahmas from a breeder in Wisconsin. Found a trio of Heritage Reds here Underwood line. Found my New Zealand Red rabbits. Now looking for good BCM's.

What part of TN are you in? East or middle or west? There is a Middle TN thread and Raven1 has some in the Sparta Area for sale. I am more middle TN area but I am just starting to hatch chicks for me but I am hatching everything I get to make up for lost time. There is a link in my siggy for a breeder list for TN if you want to look.... sorted by region. PM if you want more info.

Cute pullet! She has feathered legs like a Marans, but the coloring is wrong. The feathers on her neck are too light, and her comb looks black. I can't open the second pic - does she have a pea comb? I'd guess she is an olive egger (BCM crossed with an Ameraucana).

Could be about 3 months old.

I'd say she look like a Black Sexlink pullet
