Those are crested cream legbar roosters from greenfire in the background. I have about 30 roosters that people wanted me to save for the Chinese new year last fall and I ended up wintering them. They should be in the freezer!

I could only see the top half, not the yellow legs though, he also has a red earlobe like the Golden cuckoos. He resembles my golden cuckoo.

Here's a picture of some eggs from some bcms from greenfire, they may be a little lighter color from washing them. I really like these birds, when they started laying, they were large to jumbo and quickly went to consistently extra large and jumbo, averaging 70 to 80 grams, and nicely shaped. The egg on the scale in this picture has the scale bottomed out, it doesn't go any higher. The light brown egg is a large orpington egg. The birds themselves are larger than some others I got from an Illinois breeder.

Hi all, I'm new to the thread and I am in search of a bcm pullet to finish up my flock. I'm just a regular back yard chicken owner and not looking to breed so she doesn't need to be 100%perfect. Just hoping to get some pretty dark chocolate eggs. In in virginia about an hour southeast of richmond (tricities area). If anyone knows of a breeder near me I'd be so thankful!
