Black Copper Marans Hatch-A-Long

I put 7 Black Copper Marans in the incubator yesterday! They are due to hatch the DAY BEFORE Valentine's Day! Let's hope we have some late hatchers so we get some Valentine babies!

I put some of my gray eggs and others in for a Valentine hatch, (they may not be fertile because my roosters are only 4 months old,) I do have some other eggs coming this week. I may have BCM in that batch...below are my gray eggs and others..

So did you breed a BCM to a white layer?

My avatar was the first...green egg to a purple/pink egg gene- then mixed with a BCM to get the dark gray. Below you see the 2 gray colors bottom left and bottom right.
