This does not have to bother you and of course you could breed them. But the offspring of this rooster could be sold only as mix or cross.

I think it important to be honest about these things: Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.

If you want to know exactly about his ancestry you could have him genetically tested.

It definitely does not bother me, I love him the same.

The reason I asked in the first place was so that I would have an appropriate amount of knowledge to be honest with people if I do sell the offspring. I have been sold sick birds, birds that were "sexed" and ended up being roosters, and sold these two marans with the BCM gimmick, so I wanted to be able to honestly tell any chick buyers what they are getting.
