Black creeping in on his comb

Any Ideas why this is happening, he is eating a well balanced / spoiled diet

Could you put some more details or a pic? Is it cold outside? Is there just something on his comb? If it is cold outside it is frostbite. But I can't help much from how little details you provided.

It hasn't dropped below 57, and I would post a pic but for whatever reason it isn't showing me the pic Icon to upload a picture from my iPad so let me get my phone and upload it

It started as a couple of black spots and now it looks like it is slowly shading in color
