My Buff Orpington I’ve had for about a year is getting small black dots on her comb and wattles, it’s only her and she’s acting like herself. I’m really not sure what to do about it, please help. (She is also molting but I don’t think that has anything to do with it)

It could be the begging of fowl poxs. Or it could be dried blood if the other chickens are pecking at her. Do you have any pictures?

That looks more like fowl pox than peck wounds. There is no cure and it has to run its course.
You can support with Poultry Nutri-drench in the water and monitor for signs that she is in respiratory distress if lesions form in her mouth.
Is there any standing water near where the chickens are housed? I would do what you can to minimize mosquitoes.

Just keep an eye out for any secendary illness as it can weaken their immune systems.

I have several chickens with Fowl Pox. I am treating them. I hope they will be okay. Thank goodness you only have one chicken that needs treatment.
