Black (eastern lubbers) grass hoppers.

Will chickens eat ( Eastern Lubbers ) grass hoppers and if so what kind should I buy ?
 
Mine do. They have been sick randomly but I can't say for sure if it's the lubbers. We have the black and white kind of chicken and Pekin ducks. The ducks eat them too. Not sure how is ever stop them from doing it since they free range.
