I’ve done the same with cold chicks.

When I had my sick babes this spring I would have to regularly take them out to clean their bums and then warm them up with some skin-to-skin contact, since they’d often be damp after cleanings.
They were never happier than when they were tucked in my sweater.

I have this one yellow sweater that has about 5000 pulled threads ‘cause of baby bird claws.
But baby birds matter more!
