Black gnats

Polish rooster has black gnats in his head feathers. Im about to use bug spray

What type of bug spray? Most commercial ones are not a good idea for chickens.. I think

I just feel bad for him lol. Is there a way to get rid of them it was like a little swarm. Cloud over his head.

Welcome. You can use poultry dust with permethrin. Bug spray will make him sick and possibly kill him.
