Black Hens for sale (pick up in eastern PA)

I have 29 black chicks from my orpington breeding project available for $2 each. They are unsexed and quality is unknown until they grow out. Hatched on 1/16/09. Chicks are all sold

Also have 5 black large fowl pullets (hens) that will be ready to go to a new home in a few weeks. They were hatched here between end of May/early June. They have just begun laying in December. They were being used for my orpington project and we no longer need them. If anyone wants some great brown egg laying pullets, $20 each.

Any chance that they are carrying the lav split? Or is it the fact that they aren't the reason they are up for grabs?

All of the hens are carrying the lavender gene. They are the offspring of Lester, my lavender rooster and black Orpington hens.

Most of the chicks are as well, although there could be some that aren't and there's no way to tell them apart. These chicks are from the hens listed above, as well as others.
